Marlies Hot & Cold: October 31st-November 6th

TORONTO-This past week the Toronto Marlies played three games, all in Texas, and came away with just one win.

They lost Wednesday to the Texas Stars 4-3 in overtime, and Saturday to the San Antonio Rampage 6-1.

There only win came Sunday against the Houston Aeros with a 6-2 final.

At 6-4-2, the Marlies sit first in the North Division,

With that said, here are the hot and cold performers for the Toronto Marlies during the week of October 31st-November 6th.

Who’s Hot

Ryan Hamilton

Season Stats: 12 GP 4 G 2 A 6 PTS

Toronto’s offense lacked output this weed but Hamilton scored three goals in three games, including two against Texas.


Marcel Mueller

Season Stats: 9 GP 1 G 7 A 8 PTS

Returned from injury on Sunday and scored three assists to go along with a plus-3 rating. He’s now plus-7 for the season which ties him for first on the team with Joe Colborne


Matt Frattin

Season Stats: 3 GP 2 G 1 A 3 PTS

Scored three points in three games. Had a two goal game against the Aeros which included his first pro goal.



Who’s Cold

Jussi Rynnas

Season Stats: 6 GP 1 W 5 L 3.50 GAA .884 SV%

Lost both his starts this week and was pulled against San Antonio. Allowed 10 goals on 61 shots.


Luca Caputi

Season Stats: 11 GP 1 G 0 A 1 PTS

Played in two games and scored no points, but worse, recorded zero shots on goal. Missed Sunday’s game with a wrist injury. Time out is currently unknown


Brayden Irwin

Season Stats: 0 GP 0 G o A 0 PTS

Has only been inserted in the line up once all season. Dallas Eakins chose to dress only 11 forwards on Sunday rather then dress Irwin. No sign of any injury.
