TORONTO– Week to week a lot can change in the American Hockey League. Player’s performances are no different. With that said, here are the hot, and cold, performers from the Toronto Marlies during the week of October 10th-16th.

Who’s Hot

Joe Colborne

Season Stats: 4 GP 3 G 4 A 7 PTS

In three games this week, Colborne notched two goals and four assists for six points while centering the top line. He currently has a four game point streak and leads the team with a plus five.

Joey Crabb

Season Stats: 4 GP 3 G 4 A 7 PTS

Crabb matched Colborne with six points in three games. He scored two goals on Sunday against Lake Erie including the winner and has scored a point in all four games this season.

Jussi Rynnas

Season Stats: 1 GP 1 W 0 L 0.00 GAA 1.000 SV%

While it looks as if Ben Scrivens is the Marlies number one goalie, Rynnas played his first game of the season Sunday and put out a 21 save shut-out victory. Including last season, he has shut-outs in back to back games.

Who’s Cold

Josh Engel

Season Stats: 0 GP 0 G 0 A 0 PTS

Typically a defenseman, Engel found playing time last season up front as a forward when needed. This season, he has yet to see any ice time as he’s been a healthy scratch in four straight games.

Keith Aulie

Season Stats: 4 GP 0 G 0 A 0 PTS

Aulie has continued to struggle with the same problems he had in training camp. He was on the ice for all three goals in a 3-2 loss to Grand Rapids on Friday and is minus four on the season; worst of anyone on the Marlies.

Dale Mitchell

Season Stats 0 GP 0 G 0 A 0 PTS

Surgery to repair a torn ACL has kept Mitchell away from hockey for almost six months. He’s now skating with the Marlies but has been red shirted for no contact. Still a couple weeks away from any real game time, he’s still not listed on the Marlies roster and may see some conditioning with Reading of the ECHL.

Look for the weekly who’s hot and who’s cold every Monday.
